Many people have been confused as to what exactly a 'leader bean' is. Wild speculation has included 'theories' assuming that the term referred to the 'President' of these United States. Others, more agriculturally inclined, assumed that it was some sort of superior new bean product that would soon send Soy the way of the Lima Bean, and power us into an even bigger SUV.
